Decide whether you need a return trip from Shinjuku bundled into your Enoshima and Kamakura travel, or only repeated local Enoden rides. Two one-day tickets can cover different journeys when your starting station and return route differ.

Choose your starting station and final return station

An Odakyu journey from Shinjuku and a JR journey arriving first in Kamakura have different total costs. If you want a pass bundling the Shinjuku return, verify that you will use that return route. A ticket covering only Enoden does not also include travel to and from Tokyo. Mark both directions on a map and add the number of local rides.

Consider a separate day ticket for repeated Enoden rides

Enoden’s official Noriorikun allows unlimited boarding and alighting across the Enoden line for one day. The source-reviewed fares are ¥800 for adults and ¥400 for children, valid only on the date of issue. Add separate fares for the actual sections you will use around Enoshima, Hase and Kamakura. Unlimited travel is not automatically better for one ride or an itinerary spent mostly walking.

Separate the Shinjuku return pass from limited-express seating

Odakyu’s official Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass from Shinjuku is ¥1,640 for adults and ¥430 for children for one day, as recorded in the original source review. Romancecar requires a separate limited-express ticket. Keep the ordinary-train return cost separate from the total including limited-express travel. Prices depend on the starting station, so do not confuse a local Fujisawa ticket with the Shinjuku return product.

Check how companions will use digital tickets

Odakyu explains both digital and paper ticket use. If several tickets are kept on one phone for a shared journey, check the condition that companions must continue travelling together. If your party plans to split up, agree on display and entry arrangements at purchase. Read the travel-date and refund rules, and prepare phone battery power and backup confirmation information.
