For a morning departure from Narita, compare the first hotel-to-airport shuttle, the terminal and floor it reaches, and whether a seat reservation is required. Distance alone does not establish whether a hotel suits your flight. Allow time for terminal transfers, queues and road delays.

Compare at a glance
| Option | Best fit | Check before booking |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Hilton Tokyo Narita Airport | An airport-area option with 05:20 and 05:50 first-hour departures | If you need to reach the airport before 05:20, these departures cannot do that. Recheck the timetable and terminal for your date. |
| 2. Narita Tobu Hotel Airport | An option requiring particular attention to changed terminal stops | For T 3, include a transfer from T 2. Do not interchange the published T 1 and T 2 journey estimates. |
| 3. Hotel Nikko Narita | An option to compare for a 04:30 departure and early T 3 stops | The page disagrees on a midday T 3 departure, showing both 12:10 and 12:20. This guide does not recommend a specific midday service. |
| 4. International Garden Hotel Narita | An option with 05:10 and 05:40 departures via another hotel | Station and shopping-area shuttles have separate schedules. Do not treat this as a station-adjacent hotel or assume those buses are airport services. |
| 5. Narita Gateway Hotel | An option for travelers able to reserve the outbound shuttle | The service does not visit departure floors. Add time for floor changes and check-in areas, and do not assume a direct T 3 stop. |
| 6. ANA Crowne Plaza Narita By IHG | An option for departures served by a 06:00 or later shuttle | The hotel states the bus is not low-floor. If boarding steps are unsuitable, confirm assistance or another transfer before booking. |
| 7. HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Narita | An option requiring a careful check of early routing and shared services | The timetable advises taking the next bus when full. If that would miss your airline deadline, arrange a backup rather than relying on one departure. |
| 8. The Hedistar Hotel Narita | A city-area option advertising shuttle service from 05:30 | All trips require advance reservations, accepted from two months before travel and closed when full. The bus cannot enter T 3; allow a connection from T 2. A 05:30 departure does not guarantee your flight connection. |
| 9. Richmond Hotel Narita | A station-area option with a reserved morning shuttle | Board five minutes early. The bus limits each passenger to one suitcase and excludes skis, snowboards and golf bags. T 3 is not listed; plan a connection. |
| 10. Narita U-City Hotel | A station-area option for flights compatible with a 07:00 or later shuttle | Reserve outbound seats at check-in on a first-come basis; earlier advance reservations are not accepted. Allow for the advertised roughly 30-minute ride, terminal connections and delays. The first shuttle may be too late for very early flights. |

Work backward from your airline deadlines
Start with the airport-arrival and bag-drop requirements on your ticket. Add terminal transfers, hotel checkout, boarding and traffic allowance. Listed timetable departures do not guarantee arrival for a flight.
Free shuttles do not have identical terminal rules
Some early services reach T3 and T2 without T1. Station-area hotels with later first departures remain alternatives for suitable flights. Shuttle times are not a ranking of room quality or price.

Common questions
Does the photo show the room I will book?
That match is unconfirmed. These are supplier room-interior examples; check the booked bed setup, occupancy, furnishings and any renovation impact.
Does a first shuttle guarantee an early flight connection?
No. Airline deadlines, the terminal and floor reached, transfers and delays all matter.
