Day and night cruises use the same canal but different fares and departures. Separate online purchase cutoff, counter cutoff and meeting time, then go to the ticket office and boarding point at Chuo Bridge.

Choose the fare and age band

Regular shared-cruise fares are ¥1,800 by day and ¥2,000 at night for junior-high age and above. Primary pupils pay ¥500. Infants/preschool children are ¥500, with one free per accompanying adult. Check the date’s departures and party ages.

Separate online and counter purchase

Online shared-cruise sales open at 00:00 sixty days ahead and close one hour before departure. Counter sales run from 30 minutes before the first departure until 15 minutes before departure, subject to seats. Online closure does not guarantee a counter seat.

Reach Chuo Bridge early

The operator’s ticket office and boarding point are at Chuo Bridge on Otaru Canal. Its station walk estimate is about ten minutes toward the port; allow extra for luggage and crossings. Meet 15 minutes before departure and distinguish other sightseeing-boat piers.

Check seats and weather

Seats are assigned by the captain rather than reserved by passengers. Weather can cause cancellations or route changes. Operator cancellation and passenger-requested changes/refunds have different conditions. The FAQ rules out passenger-requested time changes or refunds after counter purchase/exchange.

Select your visit date’s timetable

The official timetable describes both day and night trips as approximately 40 minutes, with departures varying by season. Select your date rather than reusing a search result or the default date. An absent online departure may be full, cancelled or not operating.

Treat the photograph as historical

The real canal and cruise boat were photographed on 23 February 2024. It does not confirm current weather, boat assignment, roof fitting or night atmosphere. Choose from your date’s departure names and operator information.
