The bus to Zoorasia and the bus inside the zoo are separate services. Plan your station, return stop and cash for the in-park ride together.

Who this guide is for: Rail-and-bus visitors planning long walks or bringing a stroller

Choose a station that fits your rail route and check its dated timetable. Treat the in-park bus as optional assistance and allow time for a full bus or delays.

Match the station with its exit

Zoo-bound buses take about 15 minutes from Tsurugamine or Mitsukyo north exits, or 18 minutes from Nakayama south exit. The direct Yokohama service takes about an hour and runs less frequently. These road-dependent estimates do not guarantee a connection.

Budget separately for the in-park bus

A single ride costs JPY 200 from junior-high age and JPY 100 for elementary pupils; younger children ride free. Payment is cash only. The published route runs directly between the main-gate elephant stop, ゾウさんのりば, and the north-gate stop.

Include waiting in your return plan

Fold strollers before boarding. A full bus may mean waiting for the next one, and congestion can cause delays. Only some station services extend to the north gate on weekends and holidays; confirm your actual return stop.
