Buses use Okayama’s west exit and Kurashiki’s north exit. Do not assume the international-arrival extra-bus arrangement applies equally to Kurashiki.

Choose the final city first
Indicative rides are about 30 minutes to Okayama and 35 minutes to Kurashiki, excluding waits and onward walks. If a direct departure is unsuitable, consider a bus to Okayama followed by a train; check rail fare and transfer time separately.
Ordinary travel needs no advance reservation
The airport FAQ lists IC cards, dedicated tickets and cash. No reservation does not guarantee boarding or a connection. Travellers remaining in a wheelchair should separately contact Okaden Bus about reserving an elevator-equipped vehicle.
Kurashiki has no ticket machine
At the airport, machines are outside the first-floor domestic-arrivals exit, to the right. Okayama’s machine is inside the west-exit bus information office. Pay onboard at Kurashiki north exit; prepare a supported payment method and enough balance.
Use the correct schedule period
The current Japanese page separates 1–24 October from 25 October 2026–31 January 2027. Read date symbols. Extra buses responding to international arrivals are described for Okayama; not every extra is in the table. Do not infer matching Kurashiki extras.
Flight coordination is not a personal connection promise
The FAQ’s 10–20 minutes after domestic arrivals and 30–60 after international arrivals describe scheduling guidance. Departures may adjust for delays, but severe delays can mean scheduled departure. For airport-bound travel, work backward from the airline deadline and allow for road delay and a later bus.
