Compare180 for one ride with300 for the day

A regular-cabin single ride costs NT$180; a day pass costs NT$300. Two regular-cabin singles total NT$360, so the standard day pass saves NT$60 for that comparison. The pass is valid only on its activation day. Crystal-cabin upgrades add NT$50 per person for each trip. Check nationality and evidence requirements before assuming discounted fares apply to international visitors.

Alight at terminal stations

A single ticket covers one person and one journey. Everyone must alight at Taipei Zoo or Maokong terminal stations. Day passes may be collected at the Zoo exit; if returning for more rides, ask staff how to obtain reentry identification. A pass does not remove queues or prevent weather interruptions.

Refunds depend on completed rides

Wind, lightning, earthquakes and typhoon conditions can stop service until reassessment. During qualifying evacuation or weather interruption, request a day-pass refund at a station that same day. Regulation16 deducts a single fare after one ride and provides no refund after two or more. For a standard NT$300pass, subtracting NT$180 gives NT$120, subject to staff verification and your purchase terms. Check the station instructions and seller procedures for your visit.
