Check the limits, use the shared large-bag area appropriately, and keep doors and aisles clear.

| Option | Best fit | Check before booking |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary case | 150cm length;220cm three-side sum;40kg total | Measure the actual case |
| Large bag | Shared storage in the car | No particular space assumed |
| Folded stroller | Tell ticket staff about storage needs | Placement depends on space |
Measure the case, rather than relying on its inch label
The general limits are 150 cm in length per item,220 cm for the combined three dimensions, and 40 kg for all carried belongings. As a packing suggestion, check the actual exterior including wheels and handles; we have not verified a separate official measurement procedure. Bicycles, animals and large instruments have separate rules.
A seat booking is separate from luggage storage
THSR describes at least one large-bag area in each car. Small items belong above or in front of your seat. Its February 2026 notice asks travelers to leave the large-bag space for larger cases. Do not expect a particular storage position simply because you booked a seat.
Ask about a folded stroller before traveling
If a folded stroller needs the luggage area, tell ticket staff when purchasing so they can assist with seat arrangements. Its actual placement depends on the space in use. If already booked, check with staff before boarding. This is not a guarantee of reserved stroller storage.
Prepare to retrieve bags before arrival
Use the large-bag space near car entrances without blocking doors or aisles. Do not place cases on seats. Prepare to leave before your stop and let arriving passengers get off first. As our planning suggestion, keep valuables with you and assign separate roles for retrieving bags and accompanying children.
