JR Takamatsu Station and Kawaramachi have different fares and final walks. Match your address first, then check the airport-bound boarding stop for your return.

Compare station stops for JR/port access and Kawaramachi or Central Park for city accommodation. The walk with bags matters more than the ¥300 fare difference.

Use the revised October fares

The 1 October 2026 fare table lists ¥1,300 for the JR station, Clement and Hyogomachi; ¥1,000 for Kawaramachi, Central Park and Ritsurin Koenmae. Children pay half. Add onward transport and walking to the comparison.

Arrival and return stops differ

The 1–24 October timetable lists airport boarding No.2, station drop-off No.6 and Kawaramachi drop-off No.5. Airport-bound boarding is station No.3 or Kawaramachi No.2. Save both direction and number, and follow local changes.

Match the date and service symbols

Separate schedules cover 1–24 October and 25 October–30 November. Flights can change bus times, and marked services run only on listed dates. Official documents differ on the wait after international arrivals; use your specific service instead of assuming one fixed interval.

A ticket does not reserve a seat

Ordinary seating is unreserved. Full buses may mean waiting for the next service, including at intermediate stops. The roughly 40-minute station–airport ride is an estimate. Work backwards from airline check-in deadlines; rail and ferry connections are not guaranteed.

Tap transport IC on and off

Buy at airport arrivals or pay onboard without a ticket. Tap transport IC at boarding and alighting. Cash requires exact coins because the fare box gives no change. Kotoden also lists IruCa, Suica, ICOCA and contactless payment cards; some special-discount IC cards are excluded.

Bags and intermediate travel

Carry small bags and valuables inside; ask about underfloor storage for large cases and protect fragile items separately. Airport-bound buses do not allow intermediate alighting; city-bound buses do not allow intermediate boarding. Do not plan to use them as an ordinary city bus between stops.
