Plan on buying an individual museum ticket onsite. The former two- and three-attraction bay passes are no longer sold; re-entry to Wa Rasse is a separate condition from admission elsewhere. An official notice closes the facility all day on October 11, 2026. Check current notices before travelling and leave time before the museum admission cutoff.

Separate individual admission from group arrangements

Individual prices are ¥620 for adults, ¥460 for high-school students and ¥260 for elementary and junior-high students. Groups of 10 or more have separate prices of¥550,¥410 and¥230. The operator offers no online purchase and limits advance sales to groups. Individuals in groups smaller than 10 need no viewing reservation. The ordinary ticket counter and museum entrance are on the second floor. The operator lists a one-minute walk from JR Aomori Station. Allow extra time for luggage, weather and reaching the ticket floor.

Do not budget around a new bay combination pass

Sales of the Wa Rasse/Hakkodamaru/ASPAM three-attraction pass and the Wa Rasse/ASPAM and Wa Rasse/Hakkodamaru two-attraction passes ended on March 31, 2025. Old trip reports are not a current purchase option. Check each attraction’s present admission conditions and closure dates when planning a multi-stop visit.

Keep your ticket for a return visit that day

The museum FAQ allows same-day re-entry on presentation of the admission ticket. Keep it after entering. This does not establish admission on the following day or to another attraction. Schedule an outside break so that you can return before last admission and finish viewing before closing.

Use the seasonal museum cutoff and current notices

The museum lists 9 am–7 pm in May–August with last admission at 6:30 pm, and 9 am–6 pm in September–April with last admission at 5:30 pm. Regular closures are August 9–10 and December 31–January 1; temporary notices take priority. Operator estimates of about 30 minutes for viewing or 60 minutes with the festival experience are planning guides. Experience schedules and crowding can change the time needed.

Bring both tickets for the parking concession

Museum visitors can receive one free parking hour by presenting the stamped admission ticket and parking ticket at the first-floor information desk. This does not make the entire parking stay free. Check current charges, the vehicle-height conditions and entry gates before driving. Tourist-bus parking needs a reservation.
