Choose exhibition coverage
Adult permanent admission is ¥1,000. The 2026 special-plus-permanent ticket is ¥1,800; the special exhibition ends November 3. Recheck later dates.
Separate research and outdoor visits
The adult fossil-research-plus-permanent package costs ¥2,200. Add the special-exhibition supplement inside on the day if wanted. Outdoor museum fees exclude permanent and special admission.
Reserve the entry slot
Sales open 60 days ahead; timed advance payment is normal. Walk-up tickets depend on remaining capacity. Research and outdoor advance sales close 23:59 the previous day.
Cancellation and changes
Individual permanent and special tickets can be cancelled by the purchaser until 16:30 that day. Changes require cancellation and repurchase. Do not extend this rule to research or outdoor products.
Last entry
Normal hours are 09:00–17:00 with last entry, including re-entry, at 16:30. Check the official closure calendar.
