Choose your arrival station and your daily return route separately. Station connections help with luggage, while downtown candidates deserve comparison for city evenings. These ten hotels are compared using real supplier room photos and opened official access and operating guidance.

Who this guide is for: Car-free visitors choosing between Hiroshima Station and downtown for a two-night stay
Start with Granvia or Sheraton for rail arrival and departure; Intergate, Candeo and Vista for Hatchobori; Mitsui, Hokke and Daiwa Hiroshima for Nakamachi or Chudenmae; and Chisun or EN between the station and downtown. Make the final choice using the total for your dates and the exact room offer.

1. Hotel Granvia Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Two-night visitors minimizing luggage transfers at rail arrival and departure
Directly connected to JR Hiroshima Station. From either the Shinkansen gate or the conventional central gate, turn left and follow signs to the second-floor hotel entrance. The north-side airport-bus stop is about two minutes from the main entrance.
Consider another option when: This is a different property from Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate. A station connection does not put downtown sights at the doorstep. Confirm overnight access separately.

2. Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Travelers comparing station access with more room space
The official overview gives a one-minute walk from JR Hiroshima Station and rooms over 35 square metres. Standard check-in is 15:00 and checkout 12:00, with a 24-hour front desk. Consider it for a rail arrival followed by a separate downtown outing.
Consider another option when: The indoor pool carries a fee; club-lounge access depends on the room or eligibility. Contact the hotel about a late first arrival even with 24-hour reception.

3. Mitsui Garden Hotel Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Visitors building a downtown stay around Nakamachi
The address is 9-12 Nakamachi. Official access guidance describes the clockwise Eki-Machi Loop from the south side of Hiroshima Station, with an approximate ten-minute ride. Compare it when downtown time matters more than a direct station connection.
Consider another option when: The quoted ride does not cover every wait and walk. The airport guidance warns of possible service suspensions; check the actual service for your travel date.

4. Hotel Intergate Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Travelers comparing Hatchobori access and post-checkout luggage storage
The official facility page gives three minutes from Hatchobori tram stop and 16-5 Teppo-cho. Standard check-in is 15:00 and checkout 11:00. Storage before check-in and after checkout and coin-operated laundry are listed.
Consider another option when: Ask about luggage size and collection deadlines. Guest-floor lifts require a keycard. The twin-room photo does not identify the room included in every rate.

5. CANDEO HOTELS Hiroshima Hatchobori
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Car-free travelers prioritizing a Hatchobori tram approach
Official access information gives a two-minute walk from Hatchobori stop and the address 14-1 Hatchobori. Compare this downtown candidate against the station-side properties.
Consider another option when: The page’s five-minute Hiroshima Station figure is not a hotel-to-station walking promise. There is no private or affiliated parking. Check bathing-facility conditions before booking.

6. Hotel Vista Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Travelers comparing Hatchobori access and separate bathroom facilities
The hotel lists about two minutes from Hatchobori stop, with separate bath, toilet and washbasin in many rooms. Its FAQ gives standard check-in at 15:00, checkout at 11:00 and luggage collection on the checkout date.
Consider another option when: Station walks differ: about 15 minutes on the home page and 20 in the FAQ. Plan a tram with large luggage. Separate bathroom facilities should be checked for the selected room.

7. Hotel Hokke Club Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Visitors using Fukuromachi as their downtown walking base
Official access guidance gives about 20 minutes by tram from Hiroshima Station to Fukuromachi. It also describes the clockwise Eki-Machi Loop to Shirakamisha-mae. Standard check-in is 15:00 and checkout 10:00.
Consider another option when: Allow for tram waiting and the final walk. This is not a station-front property. Ask separately about room extension or luggage storage after the 10:00 checkout.

8. Chisun Hotel Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Travelers comparing a tram stop between the station and downtown
Official guidance gives about one minute from Kanayamacho tram stop and about 13 minutes on foot from JR Hiroshima Station. It describes Peace Memorial Park as around ten minutes by tram, supporting comparison as an intermediate city base.
Consider another option when: The one-bed photo does not establish capacity for two. The 13-minute walk is an estimate, not a luggage-inclusive guarantee. Check arrival and storage conditions in the selected offer.

9. EN HOTEL Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Travelers comparing Kanayamacho access and riverside room types
Official guidance uses tram routes 1, 2 or 6 from Hiroshima Station to Kanayamacho, then a three-minute walk. Standard check-in is 15:00 and checkout 10:00; the FAQ describes luggage storage on the checkout date.
Consider another option when: A river view is not universal. The entrance is locked 00:00–06:00; follow reception and intercom instructions. Agency and special-offer cancellation terms may differ from the general hotel policy.

10. Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima
Photo: Agoda hotel supplier / Agoda · Agoda Hotel Data File: hotel presentation · Original supplied file unchanged; displayed proportionally at page size
Who it suits: Travelers comparing Chudenmae, Peace Park access and laundry
Official guidance gives one minute from Chudenmae stop; Japanese access guidance gives about ten minutes on foot to Peace Memorial Park. Standard check-in is 14:00 and checkout 11:00, with 24-hour coin laundry on floor eight.
Consider another option when: This is different from Daiwa Roynet Hiroshima-Ekimae. Locked doors from midnight to 06:00 use the room key. The bed-and-armchair photo is a close-up and does not show the entire floorplan.

Choose the route you will repeat over two nights
For luggage at rail arrival and departure, compare Granvia and Sheraton first. If your priority is returning from downtown evenings, compare Hatchobori, Nakamachi and Chudenmae candidates. These groups are editorial judgments based on official locations; the order is not a review-score ranking.
Check luggage storage separately from checkout time
Intergate lists storage before check-in and after checkout. Vista and EN describe collection on the checkout date. Next-day storage, valuables and oversized luggage are unconfirmed. Include the return trip to retrieve bags in your departure route.
Distinguish similar property names and photographed room types
Granvia Hiroshima and South Gate are different properties, as are Daiwa Roynet Hiroshima and Hiroshima-Ekimae. Compare the hotel ID, address and photo together. These are actual supplier examples with an unconfirmed booked-type match. Verify smoking status, beds, occupancy, bathroom layout and view in the offer.
Compare totals under the same conditions
Use the same dates, party size, occupancy and cancellation deadline. Check breakfast, accommodation tax and extra facility charges in the final booking total. This comparison does not claim a fixed lowest rate, review score or personal stay experience.

Common questions
Station or downtown for two nights?
Start with station-side hotels to reduce luggage transfers on rail arrival and departure, or downtown candidates for repeated city evenings. Choose according to the route you will repeat.
Will I book the exact room shown?
No. These are real supplier photos tied to hotel IDs, but room-type, current layout and view matches are unconfirmed. Check beds and occupancy in the booking offer.
Does every hotel offer free cancellation?
It depends on the rate. EN explicitly notes that agency and special-offer terms can differ. Check the final deadline, time zone and penalties.
Can storage continue until the next day?
Do not extend a same-day storage statement to the following day. Confirmed Vista and EN guidance uses collection on the checkout date; ask about other periods and bag sizes.
