An arriving flight does not automatically have a connecting limousine to Kanazawa. Find your flight in the travel-date timetable before planning payment and a fallback.

Read your international flight’s row

The checked Hokutetsu timetable covers 1–24 October 2026. It describes domestic connections as leaving about 15 minutes after arrival and international connections about an hour after arrival. However, individual rows, including Seoul and Taipei services, direct passengers to other connecting buses. The general timing note does not promise a dedicated connection for every international flight. Select the separate timetable from 25 October and check cancellation or service-change notices.

Use the West Exit and the correct airport stop

The checked timetable lists airport bus-terminal stop 1 for Kanazawa departures and Kanazawa Station West Exit stop 3 for the airport. Airport guidance estimates about 40 minutes to the West Exit or 55 minutes to Korinbo. These are approximate road-journey times. Add immigration, baggage collection and traffic or roadwork delays. Check whether the service continues to Korinbo or terminates at the station.

Do not confuse the Komatsu Station fare

The operator lists ¥1,400 adult and ¥700 child between the airport and Kanazawa West Exit, Korinbo or Musashigatsuji. The ¥310 Komatsu Station connection is a different journey. Airport-bound passengers cannot alight at intermediate city stops, and city-bound passengers cannot board at intermediate stops. This is not a local sightseeing hop between city stops.

Separate paper tickets, cash and cashless payment

Where a ticket machine is provided, the guide instructs passengers to buy a ticket before boarding and put it in the fare box when alighting. Check onboard settlement at other city boarding points. Onboard change is limited to ¥1,000 notes; prepare small money. The operator also lists ICa, bank-card contactless and digital tickets. Do not assume ICa is interchangeable with Suica or ICOCA; follow the instructions for your chosen method.

Tap a bank card both on and off

The official contactless page explicitly includes the airport limousine. Tap the orange boarding reader, then the orange reader at the exit fare box after the bus has stopped and the door has opened. Use the same payment card without stacking other cards. Tell the driver before tapping if paying child fares or for multiple people. Check contactless support and the operator’s accepted-brand list.

Allow for a full bus and limited baggage space

The service is non-reserved and limited to seated capacity. The guide mentions auxiliary seats or the next departure when full, but standing is not allowed on the expressway; your preferred service is not guaranteed. Trunk space is finite, large items may be refused and passengers load and unload their own bags. Follow the driver’s instructions and check alternative connections. The 2019 apron photograph does not show today’s bus or boarding stop.

Common questions

Is there always a bus one hour after a Seoul arrival?

No. The checked timetable directs that flight to other connecting services. Check the flight row and current airport guidance for your date.

Is bank-card contactless the same as Suica?

No. The operator describes a separate orange contactless reader. Do not interpret bank-card acceptance as Suica acceptance.
